Clients of GETSMSF can invest in securities listed on 28 different exchanges. All trades must be done using the GET Trader platform.

HOW IT WORKS?
When you become a client of GETSMSF you are required to establish a GET Trading Account, enabling to trade across 28 different exchanges online. These include but are not limited to:

• All ASX Listed Shares
• Listed US Shares
• Listed LONDON Shares
• Listed European Shares
• Listed Asian Shares

Documentation to establish a GET Trading Account is included with the documentation forwarded to you when you submit your online application to become a client of GETSMSF. Your SMSF must have a Trading Account to trade across 28 different exchanges. The GET Account must be used as your Fund’s Trading Account. By using GET as the preferred Trading Platform for our clients we are able to ensure that our services are provided at a fee significantly below the market.

BUYING Shares for your SMSF
All Share Purchases must be made using the GET Trading Platform. When you BUY Shares, the Trade is settled from the funds in your Online Investment Account. Therefore you must ensure that you have enough cleared Funds in your Online Investment Account to cover the cost of the Trade. Importantly the Funds are accessed by GET automatically to settle trades. If you have insufficient funds to execute the transaction you can transfer additional funds to your Online Investment Account from your NAB plus Account.

SELLING Shares for your SMSF
All Share Sales must be made using the GET Trading Platform. When you SELL Shares, the Settlement Proceeds are deposited into your Online Investment Account. You are then free to instruct GET to transfer surplus funds to your NAB Plus Account.

Equities Research and Information
GET provides its clients with valuable Equities and Research Information.

Record Keeping
For all Trades executed using the GET Platform, GETSMSF clients receive electronic confirmation of all Trades your SMSF makes, so no records are required from you each year as we already have access to them. Importantly the information we receive is transaction data and we can have access to your Account upon your request.

We can also transact on the GET Account
As you are the Fund Trustee, you can login and transact on the GET Account. Importantly, GETSMSF can place a trade on your GET Account when requested. Please note that GETSMSF will have access to the annual data file of all your GET trades and transactions to facilitate your SMSFs annual compliance obligations.
